Lifted MKIV Jetta Wagon Put To The Test

We just got back from a 1,300 mile trip to Idaho and back with this little beast and it sure did well! Towing back across eastern Oregon and Nevada in 30+ MPH crosswinds and then over Donner pass took a massive toll on MPG, but it still returned 28 MPG! The FRANKENBUILT Lift Kit lift kit sure improved towing! It was nice having everything up high enough to not drag and firm enough to not sag terribly under the load. It was also nice to have the added power from the Borg Warner BV39 Turbo, DLC1019 Nozzles, TDTuning Tune and Darkside Developments upgraded SMIC. I'm sure my parents will be glad to have their car back tomorrow! It sure has proven itself as a serious workhorse!

MKIV Jetta Wagon Lift - I'd call this a success

Finally got the First Frankenbuilt MK4 Jetta Wagon lift installed. We filled it up to the roof and are pilling on the miles. This thing sure rides nice.
